-The deposit is 10% of the total amount. You could pay the rest of the amount when you pick up the car at the counter.

-At times, in cases involving debit card users or card-related issues, we may require manual bond release. In such situations, please send an email to with your reservation number and request a manual operation.

If you are involved in a third-party accident, here are the key steps you should take:

1.Ensure safety: Move to a safe location if possible, away from traffic or any potential danger.

2.Contact emergency services: If there are injuries or significant property damage, call the police and/or an ambulance immediately.

3.Exchange information: Exchange contact, insurance, and vehicle details with the other party involved. Get their name, phone number, license plate number, and insurance information.

4.Gather evidence: Take photos of the accident scene, including the vehicles involved, damage, and any relevant road conditions. Note down any witness information. 

5.Report the incident: Call Yes Rentals Accident Team (0064 3420 2878 and Press 3) Notify about the accident as soon as possible. Provide them with accurate details.

6.Seek medical attention: Even if you don't feel injured, it's advisable to get a medical evaluation to rule out any hidden injuries or to document existing ones.

7.Send accident details to Claim Team: Please send the following details to for the insurance claim:

7.1The photos of the third-party vehicle plate number, and driver's license (At least 4 images)

7.2The photos of third-party driver's license 

7.3The photos of the third-party accident damage and the damage to the car you drive

Remember, these steps serve as general guidance, and the specific actions you take may vary depending on your location and the circumstances of the accident.

Please present a Visa or MasterCard credit card when picking up the vehicle, and the card must bear the same name as the primary driver of the booking.

If you only possess a debit card, you may opt for the Zero Risk Insurance package and present your debit card at the time of pickup. We do not accept cash deposits.

If you don't possess your own credit card for car rental, you may utilize a family member's or a friend's card for online booking and at the rental counter. Nevertheless, prior to car pickup, kindly send us an email to request the Payment Authorization Form. Ensure the cardholder signs the form, and present it at the rental store upon pickup. It's important to note that the cardholder must also sign the receipt.

No hidden costs. Our rates include all taxes and GST, unlimited kilometers, free airport transfers on pick-up and drop-off, 24-hour mechanical breakdown roadside hotline assistance, and Basic Insurance. The basic insurance is subject to a 4900NZD excess. You could choose the Reduce risk insurance package and Zero risk insurance package to reduce the Excess at the Online Check-in step Or at the counter.

Credit card information is used primarily to ensure the following things.

1. the Hirer returns the car on time and ensures a full tank is returned

2. verify the creditworthiness of the Hirer

3. ensure that the Hirer has the ability to pay Excess if damage is incurred during the rental period

4. ensure that the Hirer has the ability to pay for tickets if they are incurred during the rental period

Your information is fully encrypted and transferred over a secure connection. The Windcave(our payment provider) Protects Your Personal Information at Least Up to the Standards Set Forth by PCI-DSS.
