The entire experience was smooth, and the team was helpful and accommodating throughout.<br><br>Unfortunately, due to a sudden medical emergency, we had to cut our trip short and return earlier than planned. We booked a Toyota Aqua from the Queenstown branch for a two-week South Island trip, flying in from India and driving in New Zealand for the first time.<br>Before the trip I sent James a long list of questions — insurance, roads, fuel policy, licences, shuttle timings — more than any company should reasonably have to answer. He went through every single one individually. What stood out was that he told me things that cost him a sale rather than made him one: I'd planned to visit a spot with a gravel access road, and he told me plainly that no insurance tier covers unsealed roads, so I'd be uncovered if anything happened. That changed our route for the better and I'd never have known to ask.<br>The Zero Risk cover was exactly as described — no excess, no bond, nothing unexpected at the desk.<br><br>We then had to cut our trip short four days in because of a family emergency back home. I expected to lose everything, since the terms say unused days aren't refundable. Instead they refunded a substantial part of the hire without my having to argue for it. That's not something I'll forget.<br><br>Glenorchy, Te Anau and the Milford Road in their car — faultless. Would use them again without hesitating.

About deposit
-The deposit is 10% of the total amount. You could pay the rest of the amount when you pick up the car at the counter.
-The deposit is eligible for a refund only if you reach out to us to cancel the booking before your scheduled pick-up date and time.
-The security bond will amount to $250 NZD temporarily held on your credit card (applicable if you opt out of our Zero Risk Insurance) and will be automatically released within 3-5 business days following the car's return.

Accident Happened
If you are involved in a third-party accident, here are the key steps you should take:
1.Ensure safety: Move to a safe location if possible, away from traffic or any potential danger.
2.Contact emergency services: If there are injuries or significant property damage, call the police and/or an ambulance immediately.
3.Exchange information: Exchange contact, insurance, and vehicle details with the other party involved. Get their name, phone number, license plate number, and insurance information.
4.Gather evidence: Take photos of the accident scene, including the vehicles involved, damage, and any relevant road conditions. Note down any witness information.
5.Report the incident: Call Yes Rentals Accident Team (+64 3 420 2878 and Press 3) Notify about the accident as soon as possible. Provide them with accurate details.
6.Seek medical attention: Even if you don't feel injured, it's advisable to get a medical evaluation to rule out any hidden injuries or to document existing ones.
7.Send accident details to Claim Team: Please send the following details to info@yesrentals.co.nz for the insurance claim:
7.1The photos of the third-party vehicle plate number, and driver's license (At least 4 images)
7.2The photos of third-party driver's license
7.3The photos of the third-party accident damage and the damage to the car you drive
7.4The third-party contact number and insurance company name

Amend My Reservation
You may make changes to your booking up to 24 hours prior to the pickup date and time. To request modifications, please send an email to info@yesrentals.co.nz. Or call us 0064 3 420 2878 (Customer Services Team, Press 2). We will promptly respond with information on availability and any applicable rate adjustments.
Show Your Credit Card When Picking Up
Please present a Visa or MasterCard credit card when picking up the vehicle, and the card must bear the same name as the primary driver of the booking.
